THE DD&C PHILOSOPHY…

DD&C is rooted in the idea that a different type of construction company can exist - a place where people are able to learn, grow and collaborate together. This “teaching culture” forms a natural environment for team members to develop a wide variety of skills to mature within the company or even advance beyond if that is a better fit. This is a unique company where egos are reduced and people are not only treated fairly, but highly valued for their skills along with who they are as a person.

With this collaboration and teaching-centric approach, DD&C hopes to train all skilled workers in carpentry trades, providing livable wages and a well-rounded skill set. By operating this way, within the parameters of a much smaller company, we are able to provide a more balanced project overall, with multiple field teams to self-perform all carpentry specialties - minimizing the amount of tiered contractual mark-ups.

Each project at DD&C is therefore able to be treated individually, with care and attention to detail, unlike at the larger regional/national construction companies. Honesty, integrity and thoughtfulness will be found in every aspect of what we do - from estimating to finishing details. Another important part of our philosophy is thinking outside of the box by questioning the status quo, constantly searching for value engineering and cost reduction strategies at every turn.
